Rocky Mountain (ID) Girls Repeat, Capolindo (CA) Boys Claim 2025 HOKA Postal Nationals Titles Record-setting season sees 1,200+ teams from 48 states participate in the annual fall program
(EUGENE, OR) November 6, 2025 – RunnerSpace and HOKA® are excited to announce the Rocky Mountain XC Club (ID) girls have repeated as national champions of the 2025 HOKA Postal Nationals program, while Campolino XC Club (XC) won the boys competition, becoming the first program in HOKA Postal Nationals history to claim both a boys and girls Postal Nationals title.
From August 20 to November 2, more than 1,200 teams from across the United States ran, allowing them to see where they stacked up in their state and nationally by submitting two mile times run on the track throughout the fall. The 1,242 participating teams in 2025 broke the Postals record of 1,100 teams set in 2023, while 48 states plus Washington D.C. were represented in this year’s results.
In the girls competition, Rocky Mountain claimed victory by nearly a minute, finishing with the second fastest mark in Postals history with a 55:05.60 (11:01 avg) time, six and a half seconds faster than their cumulative time from their winning mark in 2023. In addition, Rocky Mountain is the first back-to-back girls team champions and the second two-time winner, as well, joining Cardinal Gibbons (NC) who won in 2016 and 2018.
“Winning this year's HOKA Postal Nationals was an incredible momentum builder for our girls program,” said Rocky Mountain head coach Jeff Howard, whose boys team also placed eighth nationally. “We use the event as our senior night, so it was special to put on a show before honoring our seniors that have invested in the program for four years. The girls were excited to win it for the second year in a row, it has become a highlight of their season!”
Behind Rocky Mountain, St. Francis Sacramento (CA) finished one second ahead of third place Johnston (IA), 56:01.60-56:02.60 (11:12 avg and 11:13 avg), the tenth and eleventh fastest marks in Postals history. Oak Ridge (CA) was the second California-based team finishing fourth in 56:19.00 (11:16 avg), while Eagle (ID) showed well for Idaho by claiming fifth overall in 56:47.10 (11:21 avg).
In the boys competition, Campolindo (CA) was dominant, running the fourth fastest time in HOKA Postal Nationals history and the fastest since 2016, with their 46:41.80 (9:20 avg) performance. The Campolindo victory also makes them the first program in Postals history to have won both boys and girls titles, with the Campolindo girls having won in 2022.
“Our team is thrilled to receive this recognition as the 2025 Postal 2-Mile National Champion from HOKA,” said Campolindo head coach Chuck Woolridge. “Our Mid-Season Mania Invite has become a highlight of the fall season and we are so thankful that HOKA chooses to support high school cross country and track with this national contest.”
In second place, Plainfield South (IL) showed their strength with a 47:06.90 (9:25 avg) time, a mark that puts them eighth on the all-time list and only ten seconds behind the team’s fastest Postals mark of 46:56.20, which came in 2022.
Third place Bellarmine College Prep (CA) ran the twelfth fastest mark in Postals history with their 47:28.20 (9:30 avg) performance, while legendary program York (IL) placed fourth overall in 47:34.10 (9:31 avg). Burroughs (CA) gives California a third top five team with their fifth place finish, claiming the spot with their 47:36.20 (9:31 avg).
